TECHNOLOGY

DRIVER HEAD

Maruman has developed its own unique titanium material called Fullerene Titanium which is used on the head with a Nano-Technology material, "Fullerene". This unique technology enables to strengthen the head and gives freedom to designing. 20 years of know-how of CAD designing and full usage of FEM stress analysis are used to obtain high precision of thickness and stiffness of the head. Also, Super Levitation Casting is used to precisely convert the model made by the computer.

High Modulous Toughest Titanium is used in the face. This material is hard to deform, thus it enables to make the thickness of the face thin. Its specific gravity is so light, Maruman has succeeded in making the weight of about 4% lighter than the Nano-Toughest Titanium.

By milling the opposite side of the face, high precision rate of ±0.05mm can be controlled on the thickness of the face. (A high precision rate is generally considered from ±0.1mm)

FAIRWAY WOOD HEAD

Maruman's unique "Fullerene Titanium" is used for high precision and precise thickness. Tungsten weights in 3 places (Toe and heel inside the sole and side of the sole), total of 25g, are put in to optimize the gravity center position.

High Modulous Toughest Titanium is also used in the face as with the driver.

IRON HEAD

While keeping the high repulsion performance of the previous FVR model, the head weight is concentrated on the peripheral and the impact line to produce solid response. Also, the increased strength of the body minimizes the energy loss. The overall design of the head is sharp to concentrate on easy addressing and follow through. The Toughest Maraging Steel on the face has a high precision rate of ±0.05mm.

For wedges (AW, AW51, SW), long hosel is used to prevent excessive shaft bending for better control. V-grooves are used for high spin performance.

Toughest Maraging Steel is also used in the face. In comparison to Prestigio and Vanquish, the strength of the head is harder to enhance strong tragectory and sharp follow through.

SHAFT

Unbelievable light weight of 41g is used for R flex. The overall stiffness distribution of the shaft has been set low, enabling sharp follow through and feel. Maruman's unique Nano-Tech material "Fullerene" is used for higher bonding of the carbon. The low resin ultra thin carbon sheet changes the bending power to repulsion power. The triple phase tapering which was used in the Majesty 35th Anniversary is used for this shaft. It is a shaft which a player can feel the bending of the shaft and the weight of the head.

[Carbon] A combination of Maruman's Nano Technology and Fujikura's Rombax technology. By compositing the Cup Stock Carbon Nano Tube, the bonding of the carbon fibers become stronger, resulting a firm and resilient feel. Fujikura Rombax's Triax material and a unique braided box weave composite technology which maximum shaft stability at impact.

[Steel: For irons] Balance point is moved toward the grip as the club gets shorter, enabling the player to feel the head. The weight of the shaft gets heavier as the club gets shorter, making it possible to hit the long irons easier and the short irons with control and stability. I.P. chroming finish provides strong image.

[Carbon] 2g of nickel coated carbon fiber is composited at the balance point. Although the shaft is light, a player can feel the weight and enable to build the power naturally during the down swing. Also, by compositing the Cup Stock Carbon Nano Tube, the bonding of the carbon fibers become stronger, resulting a firm and resilient feel.

GRIP

Light-weighted grips are indispensible for Majesty brand. Light-weighted rubber foams are used inside and soft rubber is used outside. It is light-weight and soft feeling grip.

By using a different specific gravity rubber for the grip end and the tip, the balance point has moved to the tip of about 4% (10mm). This is called the New Balance Grip which a player can feel a decent amount of weight.
